Training
In Germany there are different ways to learn a profession. One of these ways is the apprenticeship.
Our project staff will help you to choose the right training for you.
In school-based training, theory and practice are taught in vocational schools. Only during the so-called internship phases do you actually work in a company. School-based training can last between one and three years, depending on the training occupation.
Examples of school-based training: Nursing assistant, office administrator, media designer, educator.
In dual training, theory is taught at a vocational school. The practical activities are learned directly in a company. Dual training is very popular with companies because important experience is gained in everyday working life during training. A dual training program usually lasts between two and three years.
Examples of dual training programs: Hairdresser*, draftsman*, painter*, food technician*, cosmetician*, baker*.
