Vocational integration project in Obermehler
The "ChancenCheck Beruf" project is open to young refugees aged 16 and over, women and men from the Unstrut-Hainich district, in particular from the shared accommodation in Obermehler, without any special access requirements. Their residence title may include a residence permit or a toleration in the sense of the Residence Act. At the same time, this means that there may be participants in the project for whom placement in employment subject to social security contributions or in training is not yet permissible due to their residence title.
The aim of the project is a low-threshold vocational orientation of the participants* in the areas: metal, wood, gastronomy and housekeeping.

Acquisition of basic theoretical, practical and vocational language knowledge
and skills in the corresponding areas
Development of personal basic qualifications
Development/improvement of basic learning and working skills
Promotion of intercultural and social competence
Support and guidance in personal problem situations
