During an internship, you work for a limited time in a business or company. This allows you to show, improve and consolidate previously acquired knowledge and skills. In this sense, the internship is a kind of competence assessment. At the same time, you acquire new knowledge in preparation for a professional activity or training. You will learn what work processes are associated with a particular professional activity and whether the work matches your skills and interests.
If you are looking for an internship, you are welcome to contact an LAT project. The project staff will advise you and support you in your search. They also know in which cases an internship must be registered with the Foreigners' Registration Office.
